Here's a wine I tried during the wine writers trip to Prince Edward County ... turns out the County isn't just about Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
The Tasting Notes: The nose is cherry, blackberry with a touch of vanilla-oak and some floral-smokiness. The palate was also quite good, offering up cherry-tobacco, black fruit toasty-smoky oak, hints of mineral with good acid and tannin grit on the finish. Price: $24.00 – Rating: ***½
