This week we'll take a taste of Kevin Panagapka's Featherstone Vineyard Riesling ... who is Kevin Panagapka you ask? Well, if you're that curious maybe you should listen to the Podcast and find out ... on the other hand maybe you just want to take the easy road and read the tasting notes below; but let me give you some free advice (the best kind) - the Podcast is always more informative and more fun. So up to you: tasting note below or Podcast? I know which one I would take.
The fruit for this wine is sourced from the old vines section of the Featherstone vineyard. The nose has lots of mineral, melon, peach and apple - the palate also shows a lot of finesse with while peach, great acidity and a mineral driven finish - very elegant and balanced.
