Jackson-Triggs 2007 Proprietors' Grand Reserve White Meritage - $24.95

Here's another for those who visit the Vintages section of the LCBO. In the March 14th release the focus was on Ontario whites, this one popped up and I thought you just might be interested in a White Meritage wine because you don't see them all that often. This week's Podcast explains what a White Meritage is, and as always it's worth a listen ... for those who chose the easy way out, you can read the brief tasting note below (the Podcast is always more interesting):

This wine is loaded with fruits like lime, apple and pear, which you'll find on both the nose and palate. The citrus is in the nose while the palate offers up a plethora of fruit … great mouthfeel that coats and fills with rich flavours.
